TRANSPARENT WORKFLOW · YOU APPROVE EVERY METRIC BEFORE ANYTHING CHANGES IN YOUR LIVE STORE
Is This Service For You?
We specialize in high-detail supplier data verification for apparel merchants who want zero guesswork on their product pages.
Likely a Good Fit
- You sell apparel on Shopify and get size charts from one or more suppliers as messy spreadsheets, CSVs, or PDFs.
- Your supplier charts mix units (cm/inches), use commas as decimals, repeat sizes, or leave gaps, and you want each verified before shoppers see them.
- Different collections or cuts require different charts, and you need each product to reliably display the exact matching guide.
You May Not Need Us
- You have only 1 or 2 static charts that rarely change. Most native Shopify themes support a simple pop-up page you can configure yourself.
- You already use a full-featured size-chart app that handles your assignment rules, priority logic, and revision logs.
- You are looking for body fit advice or sizing recommendation algorithms (we do not provide sizing guesses or fit predictions).
How The Service Works
Every step is designed for complete auditability. We never guess, fabricate, or silently modify supplier measurements.
Review
We read the charts you send exactly as supplied and keep the originals unchanged. We document whether each chart measures the garment (laid flat) or actual body measurements.
Clarify
Every unclear value goes on a confirmation sheet with our proposed reading (decimal commas, text in cells, repeated sizes, empty cells). You or your supplier confirm or correct each in writing.
Configure
Before any store change, we back up existing assets and provide a concise change plan with undo procedures. Theme code is staged on an unpublished theme copy, while shared store assets like pages and metafields are staged separately and activated only upon your explicit approval—ensuring zero disruption to your live storefront.
Verify
We check every delivered chart against your confirmed sheet, collection rule, and exception. On the live storefront we test 5 representative sample products across iOS, Android, and desktop.
Handoff & Revisions
You receive a full handoff dossier: exactly what changed, your confirmed sheets, rollback instructions, and guides on updating future charts. One complete revision round is included.
Deliverables & Job Scope
Clear boundaries ensure fast turnaround, zero scope creep, and predictable execution.
What You Receive
- Rigorous audit of your merchant-supplied supplier files
- A structured confirmation sheet highlighting every unclear value
- The approved charts, assignments, and guide presentation configured in your store
- Verification of every rule and exception, plus 5 representative storefront checks

A Fictional Workflow Demonstration
A fictional supplier sends an updated t-shirt chart in centimetres. Below are the 4 values we would flag and how they are resolved before storefront publication.
1. Supplier File, As Received
Fictional Raw Data| Size | Chest Width | Body Length | Sleeve Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 49 | 69.5 | 20.3 |
| M | 52,5 | 71.5 | 21 |
| L | 55 | 73.5cm | 21.6 |
| M | 58 | 75.5 | 22.2 |
| XXL | 61 | (empty) | 22.9 |
2. Confirmation Sheet
Manual Audit Step| Target Cell | As Supplied | Proposed Reading | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| M · chest | 52,5 | 52.5 cm (decimal comma) | Confirmed |
| L · length | 73.5cm | 73.5 cm (unit in cell) | Confirmed |
| Row 4 · size | M | Repeated size. XL? | Corrected XL |
| XXL · length | (empty) | No guess. Ask supplier. | Supplier: 77.5 |
In a real job, you or your supplier confirm these decisions in writing. MCO WebLab never guesses or fills in missing measurements unilaterally.
3. Finished Storefront Guide Illustration
Editorial Preview

Limits & Costs to Know First
We believe in 100% upfront honesty about what is included, what requires third-party tools, and our exact operational boundaries.
Exact setup depends on your theme and the tools you use. Not every native Shopify setup can assign charts by collection; some stores need a lightweight size-chart app for automated collection tagging.
If an external app would help, we explain what it costs and why before anything is installed. You decide, you install it, and you pay any subscription directly to the developer.
We never alter supplier measurements without your written confirmation and never invent, guess, or estimate measurements on your behalf.
We do not promise accurate individual human fit, zero product returns, conversion percentage lift, or universal compatibility across unstandardized legacy themes.
New supplier charts, seasonal collection drops, or re-checks after major theme migrations are quoted separately per request or via MCO WebLab Continuous Maintenance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a third-party size-chart app?
Not always. Many Shopify themes can display a size chart page directly in a native modal pop-up using theme blocks and Metaobjects. If you require advanced conditional assignments by collection with product exceptions, an app may be recommended. We outline all options and costs before you make a decision.
What do you need from me to start?
For scoping: your Shopify store URL, roughly how many charts and suppliers you have, and a brief description. After quote acceptance, we request the supplier files, product coverage mapping, and a staff collaborator invitation through Shopify. We never ask for your store passwords.
Will you correct my supplier's measurements?
Only when you or your supplier confirm the correction in writing. Unclear values go on the confirmation sheet with our proposed reading. Missing values stay blank until verified by the manufacturer.
Can you convert between inches and centimetres?
Yes, if you wish to present both to your shoppers. Conversions use standard exact ratios (1 in = 2.54 cm) and are rounded cleanly for UI presentation. We confirm the source units with you prior to configuration.
What happens after the handoff?
Your setup includes a handoff guide and one revision round within the agreed scope. Additional charts, collection changes, or checks after a theme change are quoted separately. If you need ongoing updates, we can discuss a maintenance arrangement based on your store’s needs.
Request a Scoped Quote
Tell us a little about your store. We will review your requirements and respond with clarifying questions or a formal written quote confirming exact scope, timeline, and pricing.
Please do not send passwords, customer lists, order records, or bank details. Files and Shopify collaborator staff access are arranged securely after scoping.
